Born and raised in Georgia, Whitney is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and the Synovus Leadership Institute.  In 2015 Whitney received her Georgia Real Estate license and is an independent contractor sales agent with Seaport Real Estate Group.  

She is an active member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church where she serves on several committees, including past president of the United Methodist Women's Board.  She, and her husband Michael, live in Savannah and have 2 sons.
